- A Solution for Teaching Wellness, Physical Education, Music and the Arts in America’s Elementary Schools: At a time when Wellness, Physical Education, Music and the Arts are underfunded in most every state’s educational system, The Hip Hop Healthy Heart Program for Children™ is the solution for bringing them back into America’s schools through funding via a private/public partnership private/public partnership that supports School Districts, Individual Teacher Scholarships, and Student Materials.

Comprehensive and Inventive: The Hip Hop Healthy Heart Program for Children™ brings the Arts and Physical Education back into the schools as part of a multidisciplinary, standards-based teaching curriculum that focuses on core subjects. Research has proven that children who study arts1 and get physical exercise2 get better grades.
Hands-On Fun Means Subject Retention: Our lesson plans, activities and handouts make learning fun. Students learn language arts, math, science, geography and social studies through poetry, music, dance, the graphic arts and physical education. Our 6-week program includes:
- 40 Complete Lessons Include: Comprehensive Teacher Training and Lesson Plans • Handouts • Answer Sheets • In-Class, At-Home and On-Line Activities
- Module Topics: Use Heart Health as a framework to teach Nutrition, Physical Fitness and Exercise, Dental Health, Mind-Body Fitness, Stress Management and much more
- Hip Hop Rhymes: 40 Rhymes summarize each lesson’s subject matter and facilitate learning
- Over 200 Activities and Handouts and Answer Sheets: Focus on training students in critical thinking, information analysis, organization, comparison, and synthesis.
- State-by-State Curriculum Standards: As we introduce the program state-by-state, each of the 8 modules will be matched to state curriculum standards.
- Assessment Benchmarks: Tests are provided for each module to assess each student’s key subject matter retention. Parent assessment forms are also provided to help assess student wellness habits before and after taking the program.
- Professional Development Clock Hours for teachers
