What is Shape Up US? A 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing teachers, children, parents, and their community with educational tools to make informed decisions about their overall wellness with a focus on cardio-vascular health, physical exercises, nutrition, mental and emotional well-being.
Why did we create Shape Up US? To provide wellness programs for America that work. Walk into any American classroom and you’ll see more overweight and obese students than ever in the history of the US. America has been trying to solve this problem with a variety of programs since Everett Coop was surgeon General in the 1980’s. America needs a new model.
